You hear that
Silence, It is such a rare sound to hear
lol... A funny statement indeed
But atleast for one second of this silence
We might be able to listen
Listen..... I don\'t know that many people who do that
OH they hear me....
They can also also hear what going on outside
What\'s coming on television
And the next song on the radio
But to listen.....
That is such a rare quality
You see.... to listen... requires attention
Some sort of focus on the thing your listening too
And nothing else... without that...
YOur only hearing things
When was the last time you listened to somebody
Or were you too busy hearing something else
Shhhhhhh....
The fact that you have been listening to me
For these past seconds is more than what you have listened to
In probably a whole week
For some of us that may actually be the truth
You see some of us
The rare kind who are good listeners
Really don\'t get a chance to talk
Of course we are too busy listening.........
To what you have to say
There really isn\'t any room for no more than a couple words
Before your words over power ours
What\'s funny is the listeners probably have more to say
Than anyone who is talking, because the fact they are listening......
And if you didn\'t get that, then you just weren\'t listening......
The people all around us have so much to say
We all have an opinon, a statement, a hypothesis/theory
Which we wanna express to everyone and have them hear our thoughts
But if everyone is doing that
Then who will have time to listen
Your too busy saying what\'s on your mind
Which in all truth isn\'t that important to the person next to you
Because they are too worried about what they are going to say
Not what your saying
Confusing is it...... That\'s probably because you were doing what I just said
Hear\'s some advice
Let\'s start over.....
