What does it mean to be brave?

What does it mean to be brave?
I think to be brave you must want to save,
Even if it could put you in a grave.
I want to do like they've, They gave it all.

They come when you call.
They are there to catch you when you fall.
They run into the fireball.
Breaking down drywall.
You can not understand the pain they saw.

You do not know our pain.
When our tears fall like rain.
And it starts all over again.
As another hero is slain.
People say we are insane,
That there is nothing for us to gain.
But we have one thing to obtain.
To be humane.

Firefighting is hard.
You do not know your next card.
Do not know if you will get charred,
If you will end up in a graveyard.
We are fireguards the horrors we see leave us scarred.

We show unconditional love.
Like that of my savior above.
He loves us like a dove.

we fight because we care.
When your in despair we will be there.
For you welfare we will wage warfare!
Not matter how big the flare we will be there just because we really care.

People ask me why?
are you not afraid to die?!
And I will not lie the thought makes my throat dry.
But I will reply yeah,
But I will not stand by and let a little kid fry while I just stand there and cry!
My pure love come in and unlimited supply!
I fight for the people who pray to the sky lord do not let me die! I am not ready for good bye!
I do not have a chance but I still will try.
I am just that kind if guy!
The beast I will defy!
with His will I will never comply!

Our path is not always clear.
And even with all our gear one fire can end our career.
Our compassion is sincere and for that we are the one people revere.
Even we are full of fear.
And if I should I fall do not shed a tear.
I lived my life and love my years.

I died knowing what I did was right.
And saved lives in plight.
I was their guiding light.
I fought the good fight and I saved a life tonight.

Now I can rest.
Knowing I gave my best.
I gave the most valuable thing I possessed.
Now I feel blessed now I have passed my last...t.e.s.t.
