Monotony

by Gem   Nov 2, 2006

Watching the clock, ten minutes left
This lesson is going so slow
Doing anything to pass the time
Wishing so hard to finally go

Passing notes and writing poems
Anything to make time pass
Making paper airplanes
And flying them around the class

Playing on phones and daydreaming
Just doodling on the page
Anything to stop the boredom
Of being trapped in this classroom cage

Now there's only five minutes left
Starting to edge off our seats
Itching to pack up things into bags
The lesson's almost complete

Finally the tutor lets us go
All the students quickly flee
Enjoying the release of the monotony
Until tomorrow at three ©

(I was bored, what can i say? Lol x)
