Screaming Out, Can Anyone Hear Me?

by x.Athame.x   Nov 2, 2006

I won't say it to him
I swear, no I will not
I can't do it to myself
I can't do it to my friend
I will just live in the pain
I cannot let this occur
There is nothing inside
I do not, will not love him
And I shall never say I do
I will not drive this bloody
Knife deeper into our souls
I'm crying out in anguish now
Someone, please save me
I cannot keep this inside
I cannot hold this within
This secret needs to be free
To no longer be with only, I
My heart is, ripping, tearing
My will is weakening steadily
Can anyone hear me now?
Because I'm going to do it
I'm going to just have to say it
I will inevitably have to
I just will hope that no bridges
Are burnt by my tearful words
But I will say it now, right here
I will scream it out, so loud
I have to, just have to...
Because I'm afraid, I love him.

Great poem and I think that without a rhyme scheme it adds more emotion in this case. I love the ending too! Awesome job!
