Are heart enchanting..
And pleasant to the ears;
Uttered with sleekness
And diplomacy;
But bordering fakeness;
With the sole intention;
Of pleasing and patronizing;
Blinding us with vanity;
Call it a praise, a compliment;
Or whatever you may;
It veils the truth with little white lies;
Telling us what we wish to hear;
Satisfying the needs of human ego;
What good are these words?
When they are tainted with dishonesty?
What good do you serve?
When you urge me to believe in lies?
Destructing our values with vanity;
Devoid of wisdom and intelligence...
