As I sit here waiting on the phone to ring, knowing I am waiting in vain.
I wonder how long it will take to go from hours together, until I feel the miles we are apart.
From longing to be with you, to longing to forget you.
Eventually I will pick up the pieces of my broken heart, hoping to never fall again.
