Yesterday Eve

by Jemma   Nov 3, 2006

I sought you out yesterday eve
The pain of the day got too much
I sat in pitiful despair
And willed you to come and help
You have not yet failed
You should walk amongst the angels
With a halo in your hair
For you are good and gracious
I miss you when you turn away
Be it only for one second
I am now dependant upon your smiling face
You speak ill of no one
Though they may cause you hurt
Many a time I tried to defend you to cruel words
But you said to let them talk
I can walk each and every footstep
That I tread upon this earth
Only with you there to guide me
And to reassure me
You have good humour
Which you use to survive each weary day
For I know you do not have it easy
And I hope you realize
I would do anything to give you everything
You deserve it all to be perfect
So that it may match your heart and soul
I sought you out yesterday eve
And you came back to save me

Beautifully rendered and deeply moving....when one has had this experience of another, the transformation of Self is, indeed, permanently present....Blessings on your good fortune...may you remain Worthy.....
