Jealousy

by Kristin   Nov 3, 2006

Ten year olds with cell phones,
Name brand clothes are worn by all,
Pre-teen girls are wearing short skirts,
spending time and money at the mall.

Hair and makeup are a must,
Every few weeks their nails are done,
Highlights are permanent,
and we have just begun.

Make-up costs a fortune,
and accessories so much more,
Jewelry and purses add more wealth,
and soon they look like a w.hore.

Not wearing the same outfit twice,
the bills just get more intense,
it really is the parents fault,
they don\\\'t have any defense.

Their kids grow up with no values,
thinking money grows on trees,
what happens what it\\\'s gone?
They will just beg and plead.

And as the parents hand it over,
they promise it\\\'s the last time,
The money that they give them,
is like committing a crime.

They should work hard for the money,
like we all do each day,
and should have to sweat and work,
before they are to play.

Their parents should teach them a lesson,
before they become soiled,
but I really just envy them,
it\\\'s jealousy not spoiled.
