Holding my blanket close,
Teddy hangs by my feet.
you walked out the door.
Please come back,
Don't leave me here.
You've never done this before,
You were always home.
I just watched you leave
The hours have past,
Days have flown by.
You haven't come back,
Since you said goodbye.
Its been so long
So long since you've been home.
I knew in time though
That you'd never come back.
Daddy come home.
Please come back,
I don't want to be alone anymore.
Come home please.
These few days have been so long,
Daddy won't you come home.
I'm only three,
But I know
How important you are
In my life...

    Yeh i agrre that its in the wrong catergory but its a spectatctular poem. i love it so much. it brought numerous tears to my eyes because oddly, my father left when i was three and it seems that you know exactly how i felt. my dad means the world to me and when he left my heart just broke. did the same thing happen to you?
