Aura Of Love

by Arunansu   Nov 4, 2006

Love comes...
Like a shower in the midst of May
A dream at the ending of night
In the tune of a languid twilight
Meeting a stranger on the way.

Love stays...
As a whisper of the heart
with the din of a humming bird
sucking the nectar of tenderness
And it says...
I was near you all the day.

Love speaks...
A thousand words in silence
Yet a green-eyed inkling
Scrutinizes you
As if its inspecting
Your psyche
Underneath some microscopic lens.

Minutes of the lonesome night
may suspect
Whether I am yours
and your mine only
Love loses
If I fail to spot its meaning,
May some young morning notify
You have waited for me ardently
Only for me...
You have kept our love winning.

I really liked this poem. And I like the phrasiology you used. It's very different from many of the writers here. Great job, and keep it up!
