Branded by Love

I get a burning in my heart
Whenever you and I are apart
I get tears flowing out of my eyes
When you leave, after we've said our goodbyes
It hurts to be away from you
and that scares me because this feeling is something new
I never knew it could be this tough
Being branded by love
You have every bit of me
and I say that proudly
I love being yours
because every time I'm with you, my heart soars
It goes to this land of happiness
That I wish would remain endless
But when our times end, it gets more and more tough
Because I'm branded by love
I thank God every day
For sending you my way
Without you, I'd be lost
and my heart would still be covered in ice cold frost
You make me so happy
More then I am normally
This is something I cannot bluff
Because I'm branded by love.

So that's it. Probably needs some work but I just threw it together kind of quickly. I wrote this poem about my boyfriend Brad.But this poem doesn't even begin to explain how much I love him. Hope you all enjoyed it. Leave me a comment.......or not......doesn't really matter.
