Skeletal bones trying to pierce Through,
But all she sees is fat,
A bum thats too big and tree-trunk legs,
God knows where shes at.

She's afraid of food, its her enemy,
So she decides to skip her meals,
Because a single crips can add two pounds,
Well, thats how she feels.

Shes down to five stone, she Thinks she's well,
But she looks like a twig from a tree,
She goes back to her mirror and takes a glance,
But fat is all she sees.

She hides beneath her baggy clothes,
Trying not to exist,
But another day passes, another day over,
And another meal that is missed.

Again she looks in the mirror,
And a horror before her eyes,
She finally sees she has gone to far,
Then collapses and begins to cry.

Wow....I loved the message in this. There are so many disorders that people are plagued with in this day and time. The fact that this one also has an effect on self esteem and the way we see others is heartbreaking. Thank you for bringing to light a serious situation that is not only affecting our teens but adults of all ages. Sad thing is I know a couple of young guys that this has affected and society portrays it as a female problem. Great Job.
