My Guardian Angel Cried For Me

I knelt on my knees on wet soggy grass,
As each little rain drop slid down my face,
He was the one I thought would be there forever,
But now I spend days trying to keep my heart in place,

I just remember it like it was yesterday,
Pushing me out of the way of the car,
So then he got hit and fell to the ground,
He was breathing heavy and was still alive so far,

The slowest two minutes of my life had came,
His chest stopped beating his hand let go of mine,
All I could do was scream and cry for what had happened,
For that day on my heart had a boundary line,

But as I sat there in the rain I noticed something,
The only place it was raining was above me,
I saw someone crying with big pearly wings,
For it was my guardian angel crying for me.
