On The Dance Floor

by alone in the crowd   Nov 5, 2006

Closely we danced,
you held me tightly
We were one,
our bodies in sync

Our hips swayed
with the beat of the drums
I felt your hot whisper
in my ear

The fog caressed our legs
hiding the ground
I couldn't see your body,
only feel

Every emotion
based on sensations
You understood
every one of my fantasies

Without me having to tell you,
they were fulfilled
The silky dress wrapped around me
allowed feeling of all of you

Every muscle and curve exposed
The thoughts of you made me suffer
I wanted every inch of you,
I wanted every part of you that I never had before

This was a well written poem. Very short though, I'd like to see it a little longer. The structure was that well, perhaps breaking it into stanzas would help. Over all good poem.
