A perfect rose

by Oceansoul   Nov 5, 2006

Walking through a field of roses
Shivering at every single touch
Wandering through honey sweet scents
Entering this ethereal field,
and witnessing this perfection
The sun embracing every rose,
with a gentle and tender smile,
as the wind softly gives a breeze

Dreaming away with the roses
In here heaven falls upon me,
in this field of thousand roses
Where every touch and every scent,
all the leaves and every breeze,
caresses my deepest feelings
here - in this place - so close to you,
only true perfection remains

the poem is in miscellaneous for a reason, it is by far not a poem about nature

all lines where roughly build around 8 syllables .

I really loved it. I can definately see why it's not in nature. :) 5/5

Soo, you say no one understands? I can clearly see this is about sex, ehem, or maybe that is just what's on my mind. Either way it was a great poem, and whatever it means it says it so beautifully ^_^

Very well written poem. a few times the rhythm gets a little off, but only ever by one syllable. you did a great job with the imagery, overall, well done!

I like how this doesn't rhyme, but I can still feel what's going on. I like a rhythm to a poem, but the diction you used here was amazing. Awesome.
