I turn off the light to hide in the shadows To be no where Maybe to be no one Maybe to be forgotten And so I turn off the light Sometimes its to hurt, to cry and hide To smile and know, that no one will come and take it So do I wish to hide I love the shadows, the darkness It hides the evil So I can be happy, till it comes forth and to take my smile, I rather not know I love the shadows the darkness For they hide me That tears, blend to the shadows on my cheek And the moon, my love, becomes my savior, my god That heaven sparkles White freckles on a black face A silver eye, that watches all And at full, in midnight hour Is beauty, a miracle Shadows black Silver surround Light all around raining down As I walk on heaven with every foot step Heaven that touches the ground, that lays all around My paradise I turn off the light, to hide To be nowhere Maybe no one Maybe forgotten
