New Chapter

The silence is creeping in and all I see is your face.
Where the hell am I? Why can't I leave this place?
I feel like I'm suffocating. I really can't breathe.
Why can't you pick up your pride, turn around, and leave?
You say that you love me and that you always will
But listen to yourself.... how you see me is not real.
I'm not the whole world or the prettiest girl in town
You can live with out me. I don't need to stick around.
I don't run your life, and you really don't see
I'm sick of us, I just want to be me.
So listen to me and listen well
I'm not a witch so I didn't cast a spell.
Leave me alone and let me be happy
Quit following me and making my life crappy!
I'm happy with out you. It's been this way for awhile.
Now that I'm alone all I do is smile.
And you hate to hear it but I'm going to say
I've found someone else I think about all day.
He doesn't judge me. In fact, he likes what he sees.
He doesn't try to change who I am... he lets me be me.
So move on with your life. You need to start a new chapter.
