Never Ending Pain

by Raven   Nov 6, 2006

Sitting all alone
in a room full of lies
no one sees what goes on
beyond those glassy eyes.
She wishes for a friend
someone she could turn to
but no one understands
all the pain she's gone through.
One day she couldn't take it anymore
she got to her knees to pray
"dear god, please let be with you
and end my life today."
She cleaned her room
and played with her cat.
This all calmed her nerves.
Then on her bed she sat
she opened up the drawer
and on paper, she began to write
while holding back tears
with all her might
"Hey, Mommy, its me
but I'm leaving you now
I can't fight his pain
I must end it somehow
don't cry or miss me
and take care of my cat.
Tell Daddy I love him
and once I mean that.
I really am sorry
but theres no other way
all this pain had to end,
so why not today?"
She signed her name
and drew a heart.
Now she thinks to herself
this is when it all starts.
She takes out the knife
and looks in the mirror
"Goodbye stupid world
now I'll have nothing to fear."
She slides the knife deep
and drops to the floor.
The pain has ended.
She mustn't worry anymore
as her eyes begin to close
she moans and its all done.
No more suffering and being sad
but the real pain has just begun.
