Waiting

I've been waiting for almost an hour
I am shivering and cold
'It'll be here soon'
Is what I was told.

But these words were said
Almost an hour ago
I don't know if I can
Take this cold anymore.

People are getting impatient
and they are tapping their feet
Now they are late meeting
Whoever it is they're going to meet.

People are getting annoyed
Their bags are getting heavy
Where the h e l l is it?
We're all waiting and ready!

Brats are running around
Causing screaming sounds
People are irritated and abrupt
This is all getting to much.

'It'll be here soon'
The words replay in my head
I roll my eyes
By the time it's here I'll be dead!

Now it's starting to rain
And my bones are aching with pain

Why didn't I do what a sane person does....
Take the car instead of the bus?
