Temporary Fix

by *Charisma*   Nov 6, 2006

It's like a burning hurricane inside
No longer cooled by ocean waves
It's a desire that won't subside
I need you, and I need to be saved.

I'm going off of the deep end,
But I really don't want to fall.
It's all this time with you spent.
I'm losing myself in it all.

Do you feel the same as me?
Do you ever want to scream and shout?
Like the tide in the rolling sea,
Do you feel pushed in and back out?

Like bait on a hook with a line,
I'm caught then drug along.
I thought I could handle it fine,
But I found I'm not that strong.

I need an answer, a solution.
This temporary fix is gone.
There's short term consolation.
'Cause I know I can't move on.
