Dancing Tonight

by Insignia   Nov 6, 2006

As we dance in resignation tonight,
knowing this dance will complete this goodbye,
as you are, you have never been on my side;
to suffer a loss as I meet your beauty in the eye.

As my heart looks in ruination, I cry,
farewell for the last time of my life,
all those seconds of bliss rushing by;
for emotions to keep; this prize is too high.

And I walk through the shadows, no light,
and my thoughts circulate in my mind,
and no sun seems to make my life more bright;
even you have become more unkind.
