Faded Whispers

by Twisted Heart   Nov 6, 2006

Upon the ear there comes a whisper
Tainted words that fail to ease
Simple lies that seem so twisted
Are captured by the mind to see.

Inside the trappings of a thought
Come faded wounds of memories
The soul so hungry for the words
Said to the heart and meant to please

Beyond those moments of remorse
Behind the words bound by deceit
Where actions spoke to broken souls
And minds were lost in lies conceived.

A place to find a sweet surrender
To rest your heart that's lost its glow
Unable now to accept the tender
Of what we fail to find or know.

Where whispered words of love are boundless
Upon the ears, they call for hope
In lucid dreams they come to comfort
When it seems we lose our will to cope

Upon the stars they find a beacon
The moon has cast a gentle spell
Along the mist of tarnished lies
That are the wounds we know so well

Now come the teardrops in the night
That listen to the solemn breeze
Lending words to ease the mind
Reflected faith of fantasies.

Wow, Just wow. That was beautifully written. The flow and structure was great. Not really a rhyme scheme here, but you did a great Job without Rhymes. The words used and the way you used them was awesome. Good Job!!
