Drowning

I can't breathe the pain is filling up my lungs.

The anger is pulling me in.

I'm caught in the confusion and don't know my way up.

My life boat has been deflated and you have taken away my dignity.

"Stay afloat, girl" is what I keep saying. I keep fighting,....

But the storm is strong and I am weak.

My heart loses the battle to the deep.
