Looking back though a photo album,
Bright eyes smile at me.
Too bad its not the same you I know,
Too bad you had to leave us all and go.

Too bad as we stand here in the dust,
Tears in our eyes,
You don't even notice,
You're best friends are starting to slowly die.

A joke here and there,
You think everything's going to be fine.
Too bad that you're so damn ignorant,

I've spent too long crying myself to sleep,
Telling myself you'll come back to us,
Telling myself you'd finally accept me.

I've cried too many tears,
I've felt too much pain in the past year.

Close my eyes and swear it will get better soon,
But you've left us, my love,
You have sent yourself doom.

As a goodbye present you sent me a broken heart,
With a scribbled note that read "sorry but we gotta part, im really cool and you're just not."

Did you know that I've been carrying around that broken heart?
It shatters more every time I see you,
