GIve Peace A Try

On November 11, please remember,
How bravely the soldiers went off to war
To protect the citizens of our country.

One by one they gave it their all.
Leaving their loved ones, maybe forever
Just to bring peace to this world.

None of us will ever realize the pain and suffering
The young soldiers went through day and night,
Not knowing if this was the right choice for them.

Some have died bravely, some have survived.
Reward those who have made it back alive
For sharing the courageous stories of them all.

On Remembrance day, please remember
To wear a poppy and lift your head high,
Showing your appreciation to the survivors.
