When someone writes you a poem
It usually is about their love for you
When I write someone a poem
It says something that I've always wanted to tell you
Everyone here likes love poems above them all
Because love is the greatest feeling and has the greatest fall
Love poems tell you what you do/don't want to hear
Love poems tell you that someone wishes you were near
So close to love are we
So much some of us miss it....so greatly
Most of my poems are for the one I left behind
The 1 that I wish would give me some of his precious time
Even though his feelings for me are probably threw
I know that he'll be there to stick it through
At least as my best friend if no more than that
Which I don't blame him...it's a reasonable way to react
At least know you were the 1 one from the start
And ALWAYS know that you are the only 1 to keep my heart
So when you write a love poem
Make sure it means something
When I write this love poem
I expect either to have you all or nothing
I can't write enough poems
To truly say how I feel
So I hope you know by now, my feelings are hopelessly real
When you read this poem, you know who you are
Remember that I wish for you, when I see a shooting star
To everyone who reads, I hope it pulls a heart string
I hope you all know what a beautiful song love sings
And when you write a love poem
Think about who it's for
And how you always love them more and more
Cause when I write a love poem
I want it to say something I can't say-
My feelings are the same for you everyday
Hopefully maybe at sometime you'll feel the same way
