Oldies but Goodies

by SweetEmotion   Nov 7, 2006

In a busy world, filled with careless people,
I thought you actually cared.
So many intimate thoughts with you
That I mistakenly shared.
That lake filled with love for you
Is completely dry now.
The question isn't really it happened,
But how.
I obviously don't mean anything to you.
You love more a bucket of dirt.
It's stupid things that matter to you now,
Like that Ambercombie t-shirt.
You would hate who you are
If you still thought like me.
But the old you is long gone,
So a new friendship could never be.
