Two Thoughts for "No"

Best pals through elementary,
following through with Jr. High,
we were together like glue,
each so complementary...

There years flew by,
and I can't really see the change.
My friends have changed like yours,
but now we almost say goodbye.

You changed some,
Picking to follow the crowd,
while I took my own path.
Your now just annoying scum.

Too much like all of them,
and you were always the wild one!
The one to look up to...
My one and only gem...

How the year's have changed,
we have are own ways to do things.
All I have is two thought's for "no",
Your true self deranged.

Maybe there will be a time you'll see again,
a time you'll get to know me.
Until then we are opposites,
Similar to rocks and grain...
