Why did you have to go and do that
wasn't it enough that we broke up
but then you had to go and
tell me a lie which just hurt me more

why did you have to tell me
that you still cared
and now your so interested
in making me move on

you made me feel hope
that maybe one day wed be back
but it was all a lie
all a stinking heartless lie

you've moved on i see
so all those things
about you falling in love with me
it was all probably just a lie

and now what am i supposed to do
i have fallen for you
but you've left me behind
and its all so sad
