You Say Your Life Is Hard

by Raychil   Nov 7, 2006

You say your life is hard
That school is just too much
You have feelings for someone
But they refuse your touch

Oh how you complain
The sorrow and the woe
It's just to hard to do your homework
And this person is perfect you know

But try waking up each day
On a cold, concrete street
Feeling your stomach growling
Because it's been 2 days since you got to eat

Try going to bed each night
With a guard outside your house
You're holding your baby, praying
They don't take him like your spouse

I bet it's just so difficult
To go to work each day
Your boss is on your back
And you never get your way

I bet it sucks to have 2 parents
Who's relationship won't get better
They'd fight day in and out
And now they aren't together

But at least you have a job
You're not barely living
Try making only $20 a day
Then tell me there's no room for giving

And so your parents are divorced
At least you still have 2
Try losing one forever
Then I'll feel sorry for you

People complain about their lives
Their jobs, their family, their crush,
Try living each day imprisoned or homeless
Then tell me it's too much.
