Wish she was me

by Laurie Tran   Nov 7, 2006

Watching you laugh,
your smile so sweet.
My heart breaks into a half,
Wish that girl was me.

Everyday you pass me by,
Not a single word or glance,
Even if I waved or said "hi."
For you, I don't stand a chance.

I always see you staring,
But at that girl behind me.
Yet I keep wishing and hoping,
When will you finally see?

It feels so wrong to love you,
Because I know you're hers.
If only you had knew,
My heart wouldn't have burst.

I wish you would notice me,
Let me know you know I exist.
Listen to me and my pleas,
Together we can coexist.
