I said i didn't know for she just left a mere note.

As each day i gave him letters from that person...with the sad look of denial in my eyes.
He never noticed for he thought...it was just a mere cold like i told him.
I didn't want a friend to worry
So i told him the lies to hide all my fury.
I walked to your locker to place another note...i turned around and so you staring...

But why should i be ashamed...it was daring i admit to beat around the bush and not say a word...
