Fake Friendship

by rayya   Nov 8, 2006

You used to be my friend- I guess,
Until you proved to me that you're something else.
I knew all along that I figured out about you nothing but very little,
But I think that was enough.
I always seemed to be clueless,
No matter how much I came to know.
You always seemed to push our friendship away,
Whenever it seemed that I was getting closer to you.
I'm not just a tag-along, who's happy when you're happy with me,
And will cry when u ignore me or leave me alone,
Because by the way I have dignity and self respect,
Just in case u didn't know.
Thats coz I know thats not how friendships supposed to be,
And in that I'm sure I'm not wrong.
So if you hated me that much
Why didn't you just say it from the start?
At least you'd have saved yourself the trouble of breaking us apart.
I'm not gonna run after you or beg your friendship,
If thats how it is,
So screw you, forget me as Ill forget you,
And just get outta my face!!

I liked this, particularly the last line.
It didn't seem to have a floe which kind of threw me off, but other than that I enjoyed it.
