Thunder within

The thunder with in me rumbled out loud as the man i wanted stalked away
We weren't meant to become one as we have planed.
I guess i never thought of the sun and moon shining at the same time. Though i know if some how we could once in a blue moon.
I was mother earth creating floods when ever i herd his name. He was the god of war creating wars between one another.
I was quit known for my storms of rage and rain.
He was known for his battle between me and my friends.
He had no right to dump me like trash.
I had no right to see other men that were stars just like me
But in the end our faults were the same.
The hearts that were broken could never mend.
The fight has ended
Between Him and I.
We don't talk. We have no storm or war.
We pass each other peacefully with out a word in the hall.
Yet once in a wile when i see him with a new girl
Mother earth still has Thunder Within.
