Eight years ago

When I was fifteen we met at the mall, I gave you my number and knew you would call
As I expected you called right away we made some plans to meet later that day
When we met up it was in the night, we hung out together and it felt so right
You surprised me by the way you were, I thought you were like every other teenage boy for sure
But you were shy when you asked if you could kiss me, I couldn't help but smile by the way you approached me
I gave you a kiss both of us shy I knew from there you would be my guy
I walked inside the house we were hanging out, to tell my friend what I felt
When I walked back outside you I couldn't see, but I didn't realize that you were looking at me
I found you in garage sitting on the sofa that was there, you told me while you were looking at me you had a premonition I would always be there
I guess you were right eight years have passed I'm still here for you even though we didn't last

I know in some of my poems I have alot of anger towards my ex, this one is just from when we first met, leaving out all the other stuff. Comment let me know how it is.

Well i cant believe no one has commented so i will. It is a very sad poem and shows that no matter how much someone hurts you if you are truely in love with them you cant turn your back on them - especially if they need you.
