Wasting Chances

by Some Random Human   Nov 8, 2006

Every chance that I get,
I waste eternally,
for every time I see your eyes,
they're staring back at me,
but I just sit and question,
every thing that I see,
and I don't know what the truth is,
so I just can't let it be,
so can I have an answer,
or am I on my own,
could you please respond,
I know I'm not alone,
will you ever understand,
the things that I've made known,
or will you just stay silent,
until I'm fleshless bone,
I can't believe the lies,
and the truth just isn't there,
I can't believe my eyes,
'cause I know that you don't care,
and part of me just dies,
as you give me your cold stare,
but my heart, still it tries,
though it has been stripped bare,
now give me just one reason,
that I should still live,
do away with all your treason,
and my sins forgive,
my love is open season,
so my heart to you I'll give,
this pain, could you easen,
and remove my heart from your sieve...
