Lost in dismay

With each step I take, more hope is drained out of me. You keep resisting what i think is meant ot be. Why is it so hard to make you see each attempt sucks the life out of me. I'm stuck 'cause you're my drug & you bring me joy but way more misery. can't breathe anymore. I'm not as sure as before. I can't take these feelings. It's way too much. You've let me down like a broken crutch. Just gimmie a chance that's all I ask.
