Our Love

It started..as nothing
No chemistry, no connection
In time it grew,
Into passion and possesion.
Their love formed quick,
Though it was true and strong.
They never seen each other,
So they didnt last for long.
Though they were in love,
Things didnt work.
Each time they broke up,
She was left hurt.
He told her he loved her,
He loved her all along,
So she tried to stay positive,
she tried to stay strong.
She knew in her heart,
he had meant what he said,
She knew he loved her,
Although they were dead.
But what had fate intended?
Were they meant to be?
A first love lasts forever,
I guess in the end theyll see.
So she tried to move on,
Keeping her feelings inside.
But it was obvious she was heartbroken,
She had nothing to hide.
Maybe all this time,
She should have never followed her heart,
Maybe thats what broke them up,
Thats what tore them apart.
So she lays in her bed,
Broken and confused.
Wanting to follow her heart,
But unsure of what to do.
All she wants is guidence
Maybe she just needs time.
Time to forget the memories,
Time to get him off her mind.
But as she knows thats impossible,
She wishes fate would fall into place
Does it intend on waiting forever?
Intend to keep her drowning in space?
She knows in her heart,
If they are meant to be, they will find a way,
So each and every day she waits, hoping to hear him say,
"Baby, I love you, things will be ok."
