Commitment.

by Sarah Ann   Nov 9, 2006

[I'm afraid of this commitment...]

I'm tired of this crying, every night another tear,
So baby don't keep trying; it's commitment that I fear.
I don't need other heartaches knocking at my door,
Without love life is so lonely but I couldn't ask for more.

[...So afraid of this commitment]

Sparks were flying and I saw them, but I'm trying to forget,
With you I'm feeling wonderful, but I wish we never met.
For I'm afraid of this commitment, try to understand.
I don't want to hear your truth or lies, and I do not need your hand.

[...Please, don't speak about commitment]

Your whispers give me goosebumps. Stop! For my heart's sake.
It is fragile and so tired; once again it will not break.
I appreciate your kindness, but I think that you should know,
If you love me like you say you do, then learn to let me go.
