This is not forever

I am so happy,
I could dance,
My smiles would never end,
In my mindless trance.

The world will spin at my fingertips,
I will laugh and smile in your arms,
For your face brings a giggle to my face,
Your heart has never brought me harm.

I feel secure and safe,
I am no longer dealing with this loneliness
And that is a good change
It evaporated with my hand intertwining with yours.

Because I feel so beautiful,
When you hold me close and whisper in my ear,
You only say the best and perfect things,
You say everything I want to hear.

I know this is not forever,
I will not attach to your heart,
I do not believe in forever anymore
But at least you are making me ecstatic for a part.
