When She's Alone {Parquette}

Tears roll down her cheeks when she's alone,
Sitting beneath the nights blackened dull sky,
Watching few synthetic shooting stars flash,
Leaning against baby brothers gravestone.

Tears roll down her cheeks when she's alone,
Begging for the chance to erase goodbye,
And the running mascara from her eyelash,
Which tarnished her skin from the tears she cries.

Tears roll down her cheeks when she's alone,
All her languished emotions begin to clash,
When lightening strikes from the sky up high,
Her fears are revealed with a sudden crash.

Tears roll down her cheeks when she's alone,
As she whispers to herself, "Why, why, why?",
Overwhelmed thoughts ponder with each gash,
Bleeding internally into the earths ash!

It has four stanzas, each containing four lines.The first line of the poem is repeated in every stanza as the first line. Each line except the first has 10-12 syllables. The rhyme scheme is "AbcaAbcbAcbcAbcc"
