We were planting a family tree,
The seed was planted unexpectedly.
I planted the tree in da form of a kiss,
Thanks god for blessing that kiss.
For awhile we let it sit,
But I knew u had the ingredients to help sprout it.
The tree started when we were juss friends, we watched to grow to special acquaintances.
In the summer of 04,
It sprouted and was anxious to grow more. It took a few months but I realized,
God was telling me to open my eyes,
So I could nurture the tree and never let it die.
We were starting a family tree,
But it ended prematurely.
We watched it grow for two years,
Losing it brings me too tears.
I lost everything in a blink of the eye,
I couldnâ??t do ne thing other then watch are tree die.
I was the water and she was the sun,
I hoped that the tree could bare a son.
To my surprise it grew in front of my eyes,
My tree bared a seed but it died because there was no sun outside.
On 11-07-06,
The tree dried up like a thirsty fish.
There was enough sun but not enough water,
I loved my tree but I was a terrible Gardner.
It hurt to watch my tree die,
But it hurt more to feel my heart die.
