The Tears of a Fallen Angel

Her tears,
the tears of a fallen angel,
fall without warning.
what has made this being cry?

she sits alone,
afraid to show her sadness,
depressing as it seems.
what is wrong with this beautiful angel?

he plays around with friends,
unaware that she is so sad,
for only a little while though.
Does he realize she cries for him?

he asks her friends,
why is she so sad and alone,
but he knows why.
why does she love him so much?

she looks at him,
eyes glistening with her tears,
beautiful and dark.
why does she love him so much?

he comes over to her,
his eyes a dark brown,
stunning but still caring.
why does he love her so much?

he sits down,
wraps her in his arms,
so strong and warm.
why do they care?

she looks up at him,
brushing his cheek with her hand,
so soft.
why can't she stop herself?

he bends down,
kisses her closed eyes,
softly and sweetly.
why cant he leave her alone?

they look at each other,
knowing of a lasting relationship,
loving and theirs alone.
why do they belong together?
