My Favorite Place

by alone in the crowd   Nov 10, 2006

The grass caressing my bare skin
feeling the wind dancing down my arms
the sun pouring upon my face
sensing everything through closed eyelids
lying on my back in a field of dreams
clouds sneaking in and listening to the secrets my heart silently spills to the anticipating flowers
the river nods in satisfaction of this scene and rolls along
the trees sway to the song of the birds as they fly above
i turn to face him
softly sleeping in the blanket of wonders
i lay there smiling at the memories reflecting from his soul
viewing a film of sweet dreams and hopes
i turn back to face the infinity above me pondering the concept of forever
the concept that he said he would love me for
i gently close the doors of sight and fall into a never ending dream with him
