Once Upon a Time

Once Upon a Time there
was a very smart girl,
She lived a life of happiness
and nothing could taint her world.
Her Family was full of love,
Her sisters she was proud of.
She loved to dance and tried to
sing even if she wasn\'t very good,
She obeyed her parents wishes
the way she knew she should.

As she neared her sweet 16,
she met somebody new,
A tall handsome boy
that didn\'t have a clue.
A boy that grew to be a
man right before her eyes,
She compromised her easy
life to ride with his surprise.
He lived a life of no remorse
and took each day as it came,
She tucked away her true
passions just to play his game.

They fell into love way
beyond their years,
They became the object of
envy among all their peers.
He was brave, respected,
tall and strong,
She was friendly, patient and
petitely fit perfectly under his arm,
But there was one thing that
she dared to not tell,
As much as she loved him,
she could no longer rebel.

She didn\'t know her family
from a hole in the wall,
Her sisters missed her,
on her they couldn\'t call.
She couldn\'t bare to tell her
parents how much she missed their love,
She no longer told them what
her life consisted of.
He began to consume her
life and soley on him she did rely,
She didn\'t even realize that to
her life she was saying goodbye.

Then one day she woke to
realization she was living in a dream,
She was dying on the inside,
her heart was ripping at the seams.
She wasn\'t happy anymore
living her life for someone else,
The feelings weren\'t reciprocated,
the only world she had known was false.
It drove her to make bad decisions and to him always compare,
She was too blind to see that everything that once mattered, now she didn\'t care.
That day changed her life, when
she let go of her broken heart,
She learned that no matter how hard it would be,today she had a fresh start.
The things in life that once shone, were begining to surface again,
She was learning how to heal a broken heart and all loves lost to mend.
She said goodbye to her fairytale
life and walked into reality,
That growing up and
moving on wasn\'t going to be easy...

After that decision she
promised to herself,
She learned she would never deny herself on behalf of someone else.
That instant a Prince walked
right through her mending pain,
He showed her what it is to be
loved and feel love again.
He put her on a pedistal and
opened up the door,
He taught her through trust that
she didn\'t have to hurt anymore.
She began to know what it
meant to really live,
And how finally all her passions
in life she could freely give.

But only to give with the
knowlegde that giving was recieved,
She never knew a life like this could be so real, it was hard to believe.
Finally for the first time in her life
her passions were unveiled,
All the worries of her past that
used to be so jailed.
Now she knew that it was time
to be herself, she could really shine,
That her Fairy Tale Life was now a reality- She became \"Once Upon a Time\"
