Waist away

She lives in a place
where no one wants to be
she masks the face
that no one wants to see

She holds on with all her might
always wearing a smile
She wishes that it was all right
just for a little while.

Her problems are never spoken
her tears never shown
her heart is completely broken
but she deals with it on her own

Her world has completely shattered
her pain she won't reveal
for everything that once mattered
will never again seem real.

This girl that once held on to
her little world of dreams
now cuts into her precious wrists
and inside silently screams

She put up such a fight
so that no one could see
that what she was holding back
always yearned to be free.

She cant hold on
not even one more day
and as she holds her wrists
she finally wastes away
