You Don't See

It isn't fair sometimes
How blind you seem to be
How I have cried nights and nights
Because you weren't by my side
Or how many times you would talk to me on the phone
And you would call me someone else's name
Or how I wanted to cry when you left my side
To go and sit with another girl
You don't want to see the hurt
Because you know you are causing it
I am only good enough for you
When you feel there is no where else to turn
But as soon as another girl comes along
You go right back to them
Like you have nothing better to do
But in the end no matter how much I cry
Or how much I stay up thinking about you
Or how blind you seem to be
I will always love you
There are times where I want to turn around
And never look your way again
To just drop it all and say we are over
But then you show back up again
And it seems it all comes back again
All the old feelings
Of how I LOVE YOU
It sucks because I try so hard
To be everything that you want me to be
No matter what that might be
But then I get hurt
Because at the end of the day
We all know one thing is true
I am not the one you want to be with
You just stick around to use me
But I am the one that isn't blind to what we had
I am the one that you can't see because you cause too much pain.
It sucks because I am the only one that sees and no matter what
No one can seem to tell me how to make everything change
To make things better for both of us
I want things to be okay
But in this little world of make believe that we have created together
We both know that in the end,
You are too blind to see the truth on what is going on
