Weeping Softly

by Leah   Nov 11, 2006

Weeping softly,
Arms tangled tight
She sits lonely,
during the cold, cold night
Her mother is gone
her sister is dead
her lover has left her
with thoughts in her head.
She wants to back up,
to start over again.
She remembers her old life
when she had a family she could stand
she signs a slow song
of life and its sorrow
She morns in silence
for her whole life
has left itself hollow
