This was really beautiful, in a really heart wrenching way, I felt all teary when I was reading this. It felt really raw and real.

Sometimes Christmas is so hard for me. I know it's a time for family, but sometimes family is never really there, and I miss the real meaning. I know exactly what this poem is talking about, you really wrote this well. I really hope this Christmas, everyone is home to their loved ones. Well done Chels, this was a really good poem, you expressed yourself well, and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas when it comes around.

Awww Chels what an absolute tear jerker this piece is...
The last stanza just broke my heart Sweet Pea and I only wish I could be there for you.
We never seem to be online at the same time and I miss our little chats over the past week. I will call you soon Sweet Pea, so make sure your phone is charged ....lol

Keep the faith darlin and hold on to hope that's all we can do in these times of sadness. God does hear your prayers girl !
