Beauty Defined

by Michael   Nov 12, 2006

My heart did race as sunlight caressed your face
And my legs did shake at the taste of your embrace

My voice it trembled when I heard you speak
It was the sea I resembled as my body grew weak

All around I could see the colors expand beyond my eyes
A treasure of light had been found where no darkness could reside

A longing so deep that I simply could not hide
My affections you keep from a soul that had once died

"Lover come to me!" from a distance I did cry
For sweet aroma awaits on a bed that we shall lie.
